    Absolutely wouldn't recommend if last provider on earth

    THE GOOD:

    Nothing

    THE BAD:

    Everything from the get go was bad...installed in wrong room, never worked properly, ever, no customer service after sign up, repeatedly over limit even though I usually use a tenth of it...no explanation as to why, am leaving as soon as I can

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Help no !!!!

    REVIEW:

    Have a 50 gig plan...used to use just 5 but now am over the limit every month...when the change over happened to Vodaphone, it just got worse...no reply for 3 weeks to emails, then told thye didn't have my details yet. No-one ever got back to me

    The exchange goes down often and the hardware they supply is rubbish

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Makes telecom seem reliable.

    REVIEW:

    Wellington. Should be good as there is old-school fiber. but it just sucks in every way

    speed shite most of the time

    THE BAD:

    new customers offered upgrade same not available to existing, rang to ask why (got given crap about 12 month contract- yet other isp have upgraded existing to new deals - go figure!... consequently been ripped off to tune of $30-40 per month when compared to

    I feel very much mislead by the salesman...

    THE BAD:

    Just run a speed test as well and the cable internet is a third of the speed of our still connected ADSL.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    I just want to swap it all back now.

    REVIEW:

    I feel very much mislead by the salesman who sold me my package. I changed my broadband provider, my cell phone provider AND signed up to their cable TV because it sounded like such a good deal to do all three - all with no contract. Now I find they have lumped me with an incredibly outdated and clunky digital receiver that doesn't even do HD. The guy saw my current HD freeview receiver and told me it would replace that. He never said there were two boxes available, let alone that ours would be a dramatically inferior one. Just run a speed test as well and the cable internet is a third of the speed of our still connected ADSL. Am told this will improve but only up to 15mbps - so what the hell was the point of changing? I thought I would be getting faster internet and cable TV, but no, I'm actually getting slower internet and standard definition TV instead. I just want to swap it all back now. :( Should've stayed with Fyx!!

    Actually the real issues are with customer services.

    I'm on here looking for an alternative. Nuff said. Actually the real issues are with customer services. They can't actually do anything to help most of the time, and at the risk of sounding racist, I can't actually understand most of the staff I've had to speak to in their overseas call centre. I'm on cable and it's still really slow a lot of the time.

    existing customer who feels extremely dissatisfied/annoyed with the fact that TLC have updated their data allowances for new homeline customers but not those already on equivalent plans beginning to wish i hadn't re-signed 2 months with them!! looking to switch now to another provider, figure if new provider can offer better, with low or next "joining options" it will pretty much cancel out their penalty fees if anyone out there can suggest such options most appreciated I actively encourage all existing TLC customers, if u feel the same, to post

    Purchased Telstra Clears special deal...

    I can't watch video or news clip because service is not good enough.

    REVIEW:

    Purchased Telstra Clears special deal which ties you in for 12 months. Can't wait for it to end so I can change to another provider. Even though I live close to Auckland CBD I can't watch video or news clip because service is not good enough. Their help desk doesn't want to know any about it.

    Consistently bad experience with their helpdesk...

    Spent literally hours on hold.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Changing provider now.

    REVIEW:

    Consistently bad experience with their helpdesk and admin. Spent literally hours on hold and getting different staff to sort out basic issues (obtaining and removing service options like second number). It should never be necessary with any organisation to have to email directly their GM marketing to get things sorted out. Changing provider now - just haven't had much time to get around to it till now.

    their customer service is very very bad.

    Well, where to start. I switched to telstra clear and I am not sure If I haven't done the biggest mistake. They are offering great packages but their customer service is very very bad. They pick up phone quickly in oppose to other providers but they are arrogant and treat you badly. They ran out of the phone I ordered and each customer service rep was telling different made up stories instead of being upfront and explain the problem. I dont mind waiting as long as someone explains why and not lying to us. Who do they think we are? I would not recommend telstra to anyone unless you have strong patience and are happy for their staff to lie to you? And for sure do not expect things will get done on time as they say!

    They were OK for ages (a bit slow perhaps)...

    if you are gaming the frequent socket closures and DCs will drive you insane.

    REVIEW:

    They were OK for ages (a bit slow perhaps) but recently their reliability has gone badly downhill. Use only for web surfing (where you don't mind having to hit the link a few times before the page displays) because if you are gaming the frequent socket closures and DCs will drive you insane. And good luck trying to reach them. Also their website lies. It looks like they'd rather lie about the network status then look bad by being honest. At a guess I'd say the marketing people and not the tech people are in charge over there.
