    Been connected to Orcon for approximately 5 months now

    THE GOOD:

    I have not had one single issue with Orcon's service.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Should have connected to Orcon earlier!

    REVIEW:

    Have been connected to Orcon for approximately 5 months now. From my online connection application, to writing this review today, I have not had one single issue with Orcon's service. Initial connection went smoothly, phone line crystal clear, broadband speed good, and they have an awesome, easy to use website for management of account and general information. Only regret ... should have connected to Orcon earlier!

    I have treid a few, but in end came back to Orcon... Knowlegable and always friendly and helpful staff. Best plans I have had to date and speed and over internet phone quality is just great. Connection speed and outages is more often in the hands of Chorus, not Orcon.

    Orcon plan saves me about $30 per month

    Internet speed is way faster.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    What's not to like?

    My Orcon plan saves me about $30 per month compared to my previous ISP, and the Internet speed is way faster. Customer support is prompt and is easy to understand. What's not to like?

    Worst experience with Orcon

    THE BAD:

    Overcharge me for 1 month and takes long to resolve.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Strongly not recommend.

    REVIEW:

    Worst experience with Orcon. Overcharge me for 1 month and takes long to resolve. Not sure how they handle the service records. They accidentically changed my plan to naked broadband but not supplying the device, caused no phone service for a week. Strongly not recommend.

    Service deteriated with speed and connections issues almost impossible to get a human on phone never mind one that wants to help.

    REVIEW:

    Was with KOL then Orcon for 5 plus years to get better broadband. Good at first, gradually service deteriated with speed and connections issues almost impossible to get a human on phone never mind one that wants to help. very nasty on termination with automatic bills, finally had to change credit card and threaten to go to small claims court. They even sent a debt collector who didn't persue their claim once I showed them all the facts.

    Orcon have been like a breath of fresh air

    THE GOOD:

    Cheap, easy to communicate with and great technical support.

    THE BOTTOM LINE:

    Real people at the end of the line when you call for tech support.

    REVIEW:

    After 20 years of mediocre service from Telecom Orcon have been like a breath of fresh air. Cheap, easy to communicate with and great technical support. Love the emails to announce voice mail on the landline as Im often travelling and this is much easier than calling a landline to retrieve messages. Real people at the end of the line when you call for tech support. Fast cheap internet speed.

    TERRIBLE service

    THE BAD:

    Charging us way over what I know we use for data.

    REVIEW:

    TERRIBLE service charging us way over what I know we use for data apparently we're using more then double our allocated data previously we were using only half our allotted data when on another provider. Our habits have not changed over much and previously we were also sharing a connection with another couple!
